Lineage.    Constituted as 18 Weather Squadron (Regional Control), on 2 May 1942.  Activated on 14 May 1942.  Redsignated as: 18 Weather Squadron (Regional) on 8 Nov 1943; 18 Weather Squadron on 15 Jun 1944.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 3 Oct 1960.  Activated on 1 Jul 1994.
