Redesignated as Air Force Engineering and Services Center on 30 Jun 1978. Converted to a field operating agency of the United States Air Force on 5 Feb 1991. Redesignated as: Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency on 1 Aug 1991; Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency on 1 Mar 1994; Air Force Civil Engineer Center on 1 Oct 2012.
