Inactivated on 22 Jul 1949. Redesignated as 4 Maintenance Squadron, Mobile and activated in the Reserve on 3 May 1966. Organized on 1 Jul 1966. Inactivated on 1 Oct 1978. Redesignated as 54 Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron on 22 Oct 1984; 54 Maintenance Squadron on 20 Feb 2014. Activated on 1 Mar 2014.
