Lineage.  Designated as 1854 Command, Control, and Intelligence Support Squadron, and activated, on 1 Aug 1984.  Inactivated on 1 Jul 1994.  Redesignated as 854 Combat Operations Squadron on 10 Mar 2014.  Activated on 1 Apr 2014.

Assignments.  Pacific Communications (later, Pacific Information Systems, Pacific Communications) Division, 1 Aug 1984; Pacific Air Forces, 1 Jul 1992-1 Jul 1994.  960 Cyberspace Operations Group, 1 Apr 2014-.
