Includes numerous personal letters written by Foster to his mother while he was a Flying Cadet at Randolph and Kelly Fields (19 September 1938 - 9 September 1939). Also includes a comprehensive collection of Foster's Pilot Individual Flight records (1939-1945, 1951-1963). Contains a photograph of Foster (1944) and the citation to his Distinguished Flying Cross (1943).
