Career assignments include: various duties as company and field grade officer, 1939-1951; Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Far East Air Forces bomber Command, 1951-1952; Deputy Chief of Staff, Personnel, Strategic Air Command, 1952-1955; Commander, 371st Bomb Wing, 1955-1957; Chief of Staff, United States Air Force Academy, 1959-1960; National Commander, Civil Air Patrol, 1960-1962; Vice Commander, Thirteenth Air Force, 1962-1963; Commander, Ground Electronics Engineering and Installation Agency, 1964-1967. Retired August 1967.
