Career assignments include: various duties as company and field grade officer, 1929-1943; successively Assistant Chief of Staff, Operations, and Deputy Commanding General, XXIX Tactical Air Command, 1944-1945; military Attaché and Air Attaché, Brazil, 1945-1947; various staff positions, HQ USAF, 1947-1950; Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, 1950-1951. Retired August 1951. Died 5 November 1979, Patrick AFB, FL.
