Career assignments include: various duties as company and field grade officer, 1943-1962; Secretary, Air Force Council (AFC) Office of Vice Chief of Staff, HQ USAF, 1962-1963; Director of the Secretariat, AFC Designated Systems Management Group, Air Staff Board, 1963-1966; successively Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff, Development Plans, Air Force Systems Command, 1966-1970; Senior Member, United Nations Command Military Armistice Committee, 1970-1971; Deputy Chief of Staff, Technical Training, Air Training Command (ATC), 1971-1972; Vice Commander, ATC, 1972-1973; Commander, Air University, 1973-1975; Commander, Air Force Logistics Command, 1975-1978. Retired January 1978. Died 23 Apr 2014.
