Career assignments include: various duties as company and field grade officer, 1941-1960; Chief of Staff, Military Air Transport Service, 1960-1961; Commander, 1608th Air Transport Wing, 1961-1964; successively Deputy Director for Logistics (Transportation), 1965-1966 and Special Assistant for Strategic Mobility, 1966-1968; Organization of Joint Chiefs of Staff; Commander, Twenty-Second Air Force, 1968-1970; Vice Commander, Commander-in-Chief, Alaskan Air Command, 1972-1974. Retired September 1974.

Consists primarily of correspondence, memoranda, end-of-tour report, and other materials relating to creation of position of Special Assistant for Strategic Mobility in Joint Chiefs of Staff.
