Lineage. Constituted as 19 Air Police Squadron, Bombardment, Medium on 10 Aug 1948. Activated on 17 Aug 1948. Redesignated 19 Air Police Squadron on 1 Apr 1950. Inactivated on 8 May 1954. Redesignated 19 Combat Defense Squadron, and activated, on 16 Aug 1961. Organized on 1 Oct 1961. Redesignated 19 Security Police Squadron on 2 Jul 1967. Inactivated on 1 Jun 1984. Redesignated 19 Security Forces Squadron on 18 Sep 2008. Activated on 1 Oct 2008.
