Lineage.    Constituted as Base Hq & 19 Air Base Squadron (Single), and activated, on 1 Feb 1940.  Redesignated as: 19 Air Base Group on 1 Sep 1940; 19 Service Group on 10 Jul 1942; 19 Air Service Group on 14 Jan 1945.  Disbanded on 22 May 1945.  Reconstituted, and redesignated as, 19 Maintenance Group on 18 Sep 2008.  Activated on 1 Oct 2008.
