Redesignated Air Force Intelligence Agency on 1 Apr 1988. Status changed from a Separate Operating Agency of the United States Air Force to a Field Operating Agency of the United States Air Force on 5 Feb 1991. Redesignated Air Force Intelligence Support Agency on 1 Aug 1991. Inactivated on 1 Oct 1993. Redesignated Air Force Intelligence Analysis Agency, and activated as a Field Operating Agency of the United States Air Force, on 1 Feb 2001.
