Lineage. Constituted as 447 Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron on 2 Oct 1942. Activated on 19 Oct 1942. Disbanded on 30 Apr 1944. Reconstituted, redesignated 447 Expeditionary Services Squadron, and converted to provisional status, on 28 Jan 2003. Redesignated 447 Expeditionary Force Support Squadron on 1 May 2008. 

Assignments. Army Air Forces Southeast Training Center (later, Army Air Forces Eastern Flying Training Command) 19 Oct 1942-30 Apr 1944. Air Combat Command to activate or inactivate at any time after 28 Jan 2003.
