(1967-1969) Oral history interview with Major General Burl McLaughlin commander, 834th Air Division, Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Republic of Vietnam. Topics discussed are review of experience, effectiveness versus efficiency of tactical airlift in Southeast Asia (SEA), single management of strategic and tactical airlift, airlift aircraft--C-7 and C-130, use of ground proximity extraction system and low-altitude parachute extraction system for air cargo delivery.
