20 Mission Support Group (ACC)

Lineage.  Established as 20 Airdrome Group on 28 Jul 1947.  Organized on 15 Aug 1947.  Discontinued on 26 Aug 1948.  Consolidated (1 Oct 1984) with the 20 Air Base Group, which was established on 15 Jun 1948.  Activated on 24 Aug 1948.  Redesignated as: 20 Support Group on 26 Jan 1956; 20 Combat Support Group on 15 Jun 1962; 20 Support Group on 31 Mar 1992.  Inactivated on 1 Jan 1994.  Activated on 1 Jan 1994.  Redesignated as 20 Mission Support Group on 30 Sep 2002.
