Lineage.   Established as 633 Combat Support Group, and activated, on 14 Mar 1966.  Organized on 8 Apr 1966.  Inactivated on 15 Mar 1970.  Redesignated as 633 Air Base Wing on 11 Jul 1989.  Activated on 1 Oct 1989.  Inactivated on 1 Oct 1994.  Activated on 7 Jan 2010. 

Assignments.   Pacific Air Forces, 14 Mar 1966; Seventh Air Force, 8 Apr 1966; 633 Special Operations Wing, 15 Jul 1968-15 Mar 1970.  Thirteenth Air Force, 1 Oct 1989-1 Oct 1994.  Ninth Air Force, 7 Jan 2010-.

Stations.  Pleiku Airport, South Vietnam, 8 Apr 1966-15 Mar 1970.  Andersen AFB, Guam, 1 Oct 1989-1 Oct 1994.   Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, 7 Jan 2010-.
