Lineage. Constituted as 73 Installations Squadron, Depot on 29 Dec 1950. Activated on 9 Jan 1951. Inactivated on 15 Nov 1953. Disbanded on 15 Jun 1983. Consolidated (22 Apr 2010) with 5073 Engineering and Services Squadron, which was designated and activated on 1 Jan 1990. Redesignated as: 673 Civil Engineering Squadron on 27 Jan 1992; 673 Civil Engineer Squadron on 9 Mar 1994. Inactivated on 1 Apr 1995. Consolidated unit retained designation as 673 Civil Engineer Squadron. Activated on 24 Jun 2010.
