Redesignated as: 41 Army Air Forces Band on 10 Aug 1942; 541 Army Band on 27 Dec 1943; 541 Army Air Forces Band on 26 Feb 1944; 541 Air Force Band on 26 Sep 1947. Inactivated on 8 Aug 1955. Activated on 15 Feb 1959. Redesignated as: Air Force Band of Liberty on 1 Oct 1991; United States Air Force Band of Liberty on 1 May 1997.
