Lineage. Constituted as 18 Station Complement Squadron on 5 Apr 1943. Activated on 10 Apr 1943. Redesignated as 18 Station Complement Squadron (Special), c. Dec 1944. Disbanded on 6 Jun 1945. Reconstituted, redesignated as 18 Logistics Support Squadron, and activated, on 1 Oct 1991. Redesignated as 18 Maintenance Operations Squadron on 19 Aug 2002.
