Lineage.  Constituted as 802 Installations Squadron on 9 May 1952.  Activated on 28 May 1952.  Discontinued on 15 Jun 1960.  Redesignated as: 802 Civil Engineering Squadron on 3 Oct 1984; 802 Civil Engineer Squadron on 28 Jul 2009.  Activated on 31 Jan 2010.  Inactivated on 3 Dec 2013.  Activated on 1 Sep 2018.

Assignments.  802 Air Base (later, 802 Combat Support) Group, 28 May 1952-15 Jun 1960.  802 Mission Support Group, 31 Jan 2010-3 Dec 2013.  502 Civil Engineer Group, 1 Sep 2018-.

Stations.  Smoky Hill (later, Schilling) AFB, KS, 28 May 1952-15 Jun 1960.  Lackland AFB (later, JBSA-Lackland), TX, 31 Jan 2010-3 Dec 2013.  JBSA-Lackland, TX, 1 Sep 2018-.
