 Lineage.   Constituted as 512 Motor Vehicle Squadron on 8 Sep 1950.  Activated in the Reserve on 16 Oct 1950.  Ordered to active service on 15 Mar 1951.  Inactivated on 1 Apr 1951.  Activated in the Reserve on 14 Jun 1952.  Redesignated as 512 Transportation Squadron on 8 Oct 1956.  Ordered to active service on 28 Oct 1962.  Relieved from active duty on 28 Nov 1962.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 Feb 1963.  Redesignated as 512 Logistics Readiness Flight on 4 Sep 2002.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 2002.  Redesignated as 512 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 11 Feb 2011.
