Lineage. Constituted as 33 Transport Squadron on 2 Feb 1942. Activated on 14 Feb 1942. Redesignated as 33 Troop Carrier Squadron on 4 Jul 1942. Inactivated on 15 Feb 1946. Redesignated as 33 Flight Test Squadron on 14 Jul 1994. Activated on 1 Oct 1994. Redesignated as Air Mobility Command Test and Evaluation Squadron on 16 Oct 2003.
