Lineage. Constituted as 916 Medical Group on 3 Jul 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 6 Aug 1951. Inactivated on 15 Jun 1952. Consolidated (10 Jul 1986) with the 916 Tactical Dispensary, which was constituted, and activated, on 28 Dec 1962. Organized in the Reserve on 17 Jan 1963. Redesignated as: 916 Tactical Hospital on 8 Jan 1965; 916 USAF Dispensary on 1 Dec 1965. Inactivated on 8 Jul 1972. Redesignated as 916 USAF Clinic on 10 Jul 1986. Activated on 1 Oct 1986. Redesignated as: 916 Medical Squadron on 1 Oct 1994; 916 Aerospace Medicine Squadron on 1 Jul 2000; 916 Aerospace Medicine Flight on 1 Sep 2003; 916 Aerospace Medicine Squadron on 1 Mar 2011.
