Redesignated as: 940 USAF Dispensary on 1 Dec 1965; 940 Tactical Dispensary on 1 Apr 1972; 940 Tactical Clinic on 1 Apr 1973; 940 USAF Clinic on 1 Mar 1978; 940 Medical Squadron on 1 Oct 1994; 940 Aerospace Medicine Squadron on 1 Jul 2000; 940 Aerospace Medicine Flight on 1 Sep 2003; 940 Aerospace Medicine Squadron on 1 Mar 2011.

Assignments. 940 Troop Carrier Group (later, 940 Air Transport Group; 940 Military Airlift Group; 940 Tactical Airlift Group; 940 Air Refueling Group; 940 Air Refueling Wing), 11 Feb 1963-.
