Lineage. Constituted as 4 Armament and Electronics Maintenance Squadron on 13 Nov 1957. Activated on 8 Dec 1957. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 1 May 1967. Redesignated as 4 Avionics Maintenance Squadron on 18 Jan 1972. Activated on 1 Apr 1972. Redesignated as 4 Component Repair Squadron on 1 Aug 1977. Inactivated on 15 May 1991. Activated on 28 Aug 1992. Redesignated as 4 Component Maintenance Squadron on 30 Sep 2002.
