Lineage.  Established as Air Force Contract Management Division, and activated, on 18 Dec 1964.  Organized on 4 Jan 1965.  Redesignated as Contract Management Division on 15 Mar 1989.  Inactivated on 30 Jun 1990.  Redesignated as Enterprise Sourcing Group on 1 Oct 2010.  Activated on 28 Oct 2010.  Redesignated as Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, and converted to a field operating agency of the USAF, on 1 Oct 2013. Converted from a field operating agency of the USAF to a subordinate establishment of Air Force Materiel Command on 1 Oct 2014.  Redesignated as Air Force Installation Contracting Center on 1 Jun 2019.

Assignments.  Air Force Systems Command, 4 Jan 1965-30 Jun 1990.  Air Force Materiel Command, 28 Oct 2010; United States Air Force, 1 Oct 2013; Air Force Materiel Command, 1 Oct 2014; Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, 6 Apr 2015-.

Stations.  Los Angeles AF Annex # 1, Los Angeles, CA, 4 Jan 1965; Kirtland AFB, NM, 31 Oct 1972-30 Jun 1990.  Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, 28 Oct 2010-.
