Lineage. Constituted as 138 Signal Radio Intelligence Company on 7 Feb 1942. Activated on 14 Feb 1942. Redesignated as: 138 Signal Radio Intelligence Company, Aviation on 29 Oct 1943; 1 Radio Squadron, Mobile (J) on 29 Feb 1944; 1 Radio Squadron, Mobile on 14 Nov 1946. Inactivated on 8 May 1955. Disbanded on 15 Jun 1983. Reconstituted, and consolidated (1 Oct 1993) with the 6920 Security Squadron, which was designated, and activated, on 1 Oct 1978. Redesignated as: 6920 Electronic Security Group on 1 Aug 1979; 301 Intelligence Squadron on 1 Oct 1993.
