Lineage.  Constituted as 315 Airdrome Squadron (Special) on 13 Apr 1943.  Activated on 20 Apr 1943.  Disbanded on 1 May 1944.  Reconstituted, redesignated as 315 Operations Support Squadron, and activated in the Reserve, on 1 Aug 1992.  Redesignated as: 315 Operations Support Flight on 1 Oct 1992; 315 Operations Support Squadron on 1 Sep 2003.
