Lineage.  Constituted as 2 Air Cargo Resupply Detachment on 17 Jul 1944.  Activated on 1 Aug 1944.  Inactivated on 15 Nov 1945.  Disbanded on 8 Oct 1948.  Reconstituted, and redesignated as 25 Mobile Aerial Port Squadron, on 17 Mar 1983.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1983.  Redesignated as 25 Aerial Port Squadron on 15 Dec 1993.
