Lineage.  Constituted as First Weather Squadron on 24 Jun 1937.  Activated on 1 Jul 1937.  Redesignated as: 1 Weather Squadron, Regional on 16 Jun 1942; 1 Weather Squadron on 1 Nov 1943.  Disbanded on 7 Sep 1944.  Reconstituted on 21 Apr 1949.  Activated on 20 May 1949.  Inactivated on 20 May 1952.  Activated on 24 Sep 1965.  Organized on 8 Jan 1966.  Inactivated on 15 Jun 1992.  Activated on 15 Jun 1992.  Inactivated on 29 Apr 1994.  Activated on 1 Jul 1994.  Redesignated as 1 Combat Weather Squadron on 1 Jun 2021.
