Lineage.  Constituted as 446 Installations Squadron on 11 Apr 1955.  Activated in the Reserve on 25 May 1955.  Redesignated as 446 Civil Engineering Squadron on 1 Jul 1960.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 Jan 1963.  Activated in the Reserve on 15 Nov 1978.  Consolidated (3 Oct 1984), with the 446 Civil Engineering Flight (constituted on 18 Jun 1976; activated on 1 Jul 1976; inactivated on 15 Nov 1978).  Consolidated unit retained designation as 446 Civil Engineering Squadron.  Redesignated as 446 Civil Engineer Squadron on 1 Mar 1994.
