Lineage.  Constituted as 446 Tactical Hospital on 11 Apr 1955.  Activated in the Reserve on 25 May 1955.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 Jan 1963.  Redesignated as 446 USAF Clinic (Associate) on 18 Oct 1982.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Dec 1982.  Redesignated as: 446 Medical Squadron on 1 Oct 1994; 446 Aerospace Medicine Squadron on 1 Jul 2000.

Assignments.  446 Troop Carrier Wing, 25 May 1955-17 Jan 1963.  446 Military Airlift (later, 446 Airlift) Wing, 1 Dec 1982; 446 Medical Group, 1 Aug 1992; 446 Airlift Wing, 1 Apr 1997-.

Stations.  Ellington AFB, TX, 25 May 1955-17 Jan 1963.  McChord AFB, WA, 1 Dec 1982-.
