Lineage.   Designated as 3303 Procurement Squadron, and activated, on 1 Nov 1972.  Redesignated as: 3303 Contracting Squadron on 1 Oct 1978; 338 Contracting Squadron on 15 Sep 1992; Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron on 18 Feb 1994; 338 Specialized Contracting Squadron on 1 Oct 2013; 338 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron on 20 Apr 2020.

Assignments.  Air Training Command, 1 Nov 1972; 3300 Training Support (later, 338 Training Support) Group, 1 Oct 1990; Air Education and Training Command, 18 Feb 1994; Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (later, Air Force Installation Contracting Center), 1 Oct 2013-.

Stations.  Randolph AFB (later, JB San Antonio-Randolph), TX, 1 Nov 1972-.
