Lineage.  Designated as 97 Maintenance and Supply Group on 11 Sep 1947.  Organized on 1 Dec 1947.  Discontinued on 12 Jul 1948.  Consolidated (19 Sep 1995) with the 97 Maintenance and Supply Group, which was established on 28 May 1948.  Activated on 12 July 1948.  Inactivated on 10 Feb 1951.  Activated on 14 Feb 1952.  Inactivated on 16 Jun 1952.  Disestablished on 27 Sep 1984.  Reestablished, and redesignated as 97 Logistics Group, on 29 Aug 1991.  Activated on 1 Sep 1991.  Inactivated on 1 Apr 1992.  Activated on 1 Oct 1992.  Inactivated on 30 Aug 2002.  Redesignated as 97 Maintenance Group on 24 Aug 2017.  Activated on 1 Nov 2017.
