Inactivated on 20 Oct 1945. Redesignated as 739 Air Force Band on 26 Sep 1947. Activated on 10 May 1955. Redesignated as United States Air Force Academy Band on 8 Mar 1958: USAF Band of the Rockies on 1 Jul 1993; Band of the Rockies on 1 Jul 1994; United States Air Force Band of the Rockies on 1 May 1997; United States Air Force Academy Band on 1 Oct 2003.
