Lineage.  Constituted as 626 Military Airlift Support Squadron, and activated, on 27 Dec 1965.  Organized on 8 Jan 1966.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 8 Apr 1966.  Redesignated as 626 Air Mobility Support Squadron on 26 May 1994.  Activated on 1 Jul 1994.  Redesignated as 726 Air Mobility Squadron on 15 Mar 2001.  


Assignments.  322 Air Division, 8 Jan-8 Apr 1966.  621 Air Mobility Support (later, 721 Air Mobility Operations) Group, 1 Jul 1994-.


Stations.  Paris, France, 8 Jan-8 Apr 1966.  Rhein-Main AB, Germany, 1 Jul 1994; Spangdahlem AB, Germany, 1 Oct 2005-.
