Lineage. Established as 86 Maintenance and Supply Group, and activated, on 1 Jul 1948. Inactivated on 11 May 1953. Disestablished on 27 Sep 1984. Reestablished, redesignated as 86 Logistics Group, and activated, on 1 May 1991. Redesignated as 86 Maintenance Group on 27 Sep 2002.
