Lineage. Constituted as 2 Air Postal Squadron on 12 Sep 1949.  Activated on 5 Oct 1949. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 8 Jan 1963.Consolidated (1 Jun 1993) with the 7025 Air Postal Squadron, which was activated on 1 Jul 1976. Redesignated as: 2 Air Postal Squadron on 15 Jun 1993; United States Air Forces in Europe Air Postal Squadron on 1 Jul 1994; 2 Air Postal Squadron on 22 Mar 2004; United States Air Forces in Europe Air Postal Squadron on 9 Nov 2016.
