Lineage. Established as 724 Training Group on 22 Jan 1943. Activated on 28 Feb 1943. Disbanded on 30 Apr 1944. Reestablished, and redesignated as, 724 Special Tactics Group on 1 Mar 2011. Activated on 29 Apr 2011.
