Lineage. Constituted as 902 Military Police Company (Aviation) on 4 Jul 1942. Activated on 11 Jul 1942. Redesignated as 902 Guard Squadron on 1 Aug 1942. Disbanded on 31 Mar 1944. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 902 Security Forces Squadron, on 28 Jul 2009. Activated on 31 Jan 2010.
