Redesignated as: 27 Communications Squadron, Air Force, on 1 Apr 1970; 27 Communications Squadron, Division, on 1 Jan 1975; 27 Communications Squadron on 1 Jul 1976; 27 Information Systems Squadron on 6 Jul 1984; 27 Communications Squadron on 1 Nov 1986; 633 Communications Squadron on 1 Nov 1991. Inactivated on 1 Oct 1994. Activated on 7 Jan 2010.
