Lineage.  Designated as 145 Airways and Air Communications Service Squadron on 14 May 1948.  Organized on 1 Jun 1948.  Redesignated as: 1957 Airways and Air Communications Service Squadron on 1 Oct 1948; 1957 Airways and Air Communications Service Group on 18 Sep 1959;  Headquarters, 1957 Airways and Air Communications Service Group on 8 Oct 1959; Headquarters, 1957 Communications Group on 1 Jul 1961; 1957 Information  Systems Group on 1 Aug 1984; 1957 Communications Group on 1 Nov 1986.  Inactivated on 13 Apr 1992.   Redesignated as 624 Operations Center on 11 Aug 2009.  Activated on 18 Aug 2009.
