Lineage. Constituted as 18 Aviation Depot Squadron on 5 Dec 1956. Activated on 1 Jan 1957. Redesignated as 18 Munitions Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1960. Discontinued and inactivated on 2 Jul 1968. Activated on 1 Dec 1973. Inactivated on 1 Jun 1977. Redesignated as 18 Munitions Squadron on 1 Jun 1994. Activated on 1 Aug 1994.
