Lineage. Established as 504 Tactical Air Support Group, and activated on 5 Dec 1966. Organized on 8 Dec 1966. Inactivated on 15 Mar 1972. Redesignated as 504 Expeditionary Air Support Operations Group, and converted to provisional status, on 12 Feb 2009.
