57 Intelligence Squadron (ACC)

Lineage.  Constituted as 2 Photographic Technical Squadron on 21 Oct 1943.  Activated on 1 Nov 1943.  Inactivated on 19 Aug 1946.  Activated in the Reserve on 10 Aug 1948.  Inactivated on 27 Jun 1949.  Consolidated (16 Oct 1984) with unit constituted as 72 Reconnaissance Technical Squadron on 4 Jun 1952, activated on 16 Jun 1952, and inactivated on 15 Apr 1955.  Consolidated unit was redesignated as: 27 Reconnaissance Technical Squadron on 16 Oct 1984; 57 Intelligence Squadron on 13 Feb 2015.  Activated on 17 Feb 2015.
