28 Intelligence Squadron (AFRC)

Lineage.  Constituted as 28 Photographic Laboratory, Bombardment Group, Very Heavy, on 25 May 1944.  Activated on 1 Aug 1944.  Inactivated on 22 Feb 1946.  Disbanded on 8 Oct 1948.  Reconstituted, and consolidated (18 Sep 2014) with the 28 Intelligence Squadron, which was constituted as the 28 Reconnaissance Technical Squadron on 3 Mar 1950.  Activated on 1 May 1950.  Inactivated on 15 Apr 1955.  Redesignated as 28 Intelligence Squadron on 19 Mar 2014.  Activated on 17 Apr 2014.
