10 Security Forces Squadron (USAFA)

Lineage.  Designated as Squadron B, 10 Airdrome Group, on 14 Nov 1947.  Organized on 3 Dec 1947.  Discontinued on 27 Aug 1948.  Consolidated (12 Oct 1984) with the 10 Air Police Squadron, Tactical Reconnaissance, which was constituted on 14 Jun 1948.  Activated on 25 Aug 1948.  Inactivated on 1 Apr 1949.  Redesignated as 10 Air Police Squadron on 25 Jun 1952. 
Activated on 10 Jul 1952.  Redesignated as 10 Security Police Squadron on 1 May 1967.  Inactivated on 1 Nov 1994.  Activated on 1 Nov 1994.  Redesignated as 10 Security Forces Squadron on 16 Jul 1997.
