Established as 433 Troop Carrier Group on 22 Jan 1943.  Activated on 9 Feb 1943.  Inactivated on 15 Jan 1946.  Activated in the Reserve on 6 Jul 1947.  Redesignated as 433 Troop Carrier Group, Medium on 27 Jun 1949.  Ordered to active service on 15 Oct 1950.  Inactivated on 14 Jul 1952.  Activated in the Reserve on 18 May 1955.  Inactivated on 14 Apr 1959.  Redesignated as: 433 Tactical Airlift Group on 31 Jul 1985; 433 Operations Group on 1 Aug 1992.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Aug 1992.
