(Civilian Flying License No. 591, 1919); reapppointed Second Lieutenant, National Guard (MN), November 1929. Career assignments include: various duties as company grade officer, 1918-1919; called to active duty as Major, Air Corps, October 1941; various staff positions, 1941-1942; Chief of Staff, XII Air Support Command, 1943; Deputy Chief of Staff, HQ XII Troop Carrier Command, 1944. Relieved from active duty, March 1945. Duty with Air Force reserve, 1949-1953. Retired February 1953. Died in Minneapolis, MN.
