302 Mission Support Group (AFRC)

Lineage.  Established as 302 Air Base Group on 16 May 1949.  Activated in the Reserve on 27 Jun 1949.  Ordered to active service on 1 Jun 1951.  Inactivated on 8 Jun 1951.  Activated in the Reserve on 14 Jun 1952.  Ordered to active service on 28 Oct 1962. Relieved from active duty on 28 Nov 1962.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 Feb 1963.  Redesignated as 302 Combat Support Group on 20 May 1975.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Sep 1975.  Inactivated on 1 Apr 1981.  Redesignated as 302 Support Group, and activated in the Reserve, on 1 Aug 1992.  Redesignated as 302 Mission Support Group on 1 Oct 2002.
